Book It Bobcats
We end the school year with this amazing program to help children enjoy a summer of reading. The program fosters literacy while raising funds for our school. Children track their summer reading minutes and at the start of the new school year we celebrate their success and give out some pretty cool prizes! Find more details about Book It Bobcats.
Golf Tournament
Join us in the fall for our annual golf tournament. This is a wonderful community building and fundraising event to support the amazing education at Bill Roberts! Find more details about the golf tournament.
Greet & Give Parties
To kick off the school year PTA, in conjunction with Bill Roberts Parents, hosts Greet & Give Parties as a chance to get to know the school community, share our goals, successes and raise funds. If you did not get a chance to attend a party, you can always contribute online at any time throughout the year!
Fun Run
In the fall, Bill Roberts hosts a 5K and Family Fun Run at school. Students have the opportunity to get their artwork on the coveted Fun Run t-shirt. These shirts are allowed to be worn on Fridays. Come out and join Bill Roberts for the best family building fundraiser of the year! There is music, prizes and sponsors providing fun gifts! Find more details about the Fun Run.
Dances
The Bill Roberts PTA hosts a winter dance every December in the school gym. There’s aDJ, photo booth, food trucks, desserts and plenty of dancing! These dances are great opportunities for parents and kids to spend time together, while helping to build a stronger school community.
Annual Auction
Every Spring, the PTA hosts its annual fundraising auction and party. This event is the single largest fundraising event of the year with the goal of raising $75,000 for our school. Not only is the auction an important fundraiser, it is also a really fun night out for parents of kids at Bill Roberts. Find more information about the Auction.
Field Day
Field Day is an annual event organized by the PE Department. As part of this fun outside day, kids get a chance to compete in a variety of events including jump rope contests, running races and tug-o-war. More information will be available in the spring!
Spring Carnival
Our FUNdraising Spring Carnival is a family-friendly event that is a much-anticipated night out for everyone! The gym and playground are converted into a carnival with games of chance, games of skill, a dunk tank, cakewalk and much more. Kids have the opportunity to spend time with their classmates and win prizes, all while raising a little money for our school.
Musicals
Traditionally, the Drama and Music departments organize a holiday program, a talent show in the spring, and other grade-specific programs. The Drama department participates in the Denver Public Schools Shakespeare Festival with more than 100 students attending each year.
Book Fairs
Bill Roberts hosts two popular Scholastic Book Fairs each year in the winter and spring that the kids love! These fundraisers traditionally raise enough funds to purchase 200-250 new books and promote reading.
